TahoeXC Ski Swap

The Largest XC Ski Swap in California! The best place to buy and sell Nordic Gear.

The 18th annual Tahoe XC Ski Swap is on Saturday, November 12th at 10am, at Tahoe XC.

The proceeds from the Ski Swap benefit the Tahoe Cross Country Ski Education Association.

How the Swap Works

If you are looking to purchase equipment, the swap opens at 10am. We will be serving food from 9:30am to 12pm, breakfast burritos, coffee, juice, and more from Men Wielding Fire. There will be several volunteers and equipment representatives to help you find the right equipment. Admission to the event is free. We encourage you to purchase a raffle ticket which could win you a season pass while you support our Ski Education Association.

Tahoe Cross Country Ski Education Association provides school children in the community with a unique opportunity to not only learn and participate in a sport that will provide lifelong enjoyment and health benefits but also can provide motivated individuals with a foundation for world class competitive training. Many young athletes from the area move on to competition at the national and international level in Nordic skiing. TCCSEA supports its local Nordic ski team from North Tahoe Middle and High Schools by providing free trail access, coaching support and ski equipment.

Selling Equipment?

If you have equipment to sell, bring it to Tahoe XC on Friday, November 11th from 3pm to 8pm. You will fill out a tag and some matching paperwork and your items will be entered into the swap. If your items sell, we will pay you on Sunday, minus our commission of just 15% on sold items. On Sunday you will return to pick up your check and/or your unsold items. If you choose to donate your unsold items to TCCSEA, we can take them and mail you your check. Also if all your items have sold we can send you a check in the mail and save you a trip on Sunday.
