The health and safety of our staff and participants is a high priority. Tahoe XC will be using airnow.gov and the Air Quality Guide for Particle Pollution for determining the following Air Quality Index (AQI) standards.
- lf less than 100 AQI, we will host events/practices and the standard Tahoe XC refund policy applies.
- If AQI is 101-150, Tahoe XC will host the event/practice and participants can choose whether to attend or not based on their sensitivity level. No refund will be given but participants can choose a credit for another clinic this 2021 bike season.
- If AQI is 151+, Tahoe XC will cancel and 100% refund, or credit towards another 2021 bike clinic, will be given.
For Junior Mountain Riders, we will notify participants by 12:00pm on the day-of if we need to cancel the clinic due to poor air quality. For Devo Team, coaches will notify participants the morning-of regarding the day’s plan.
