10th Grand Opening of the Tahoe City Winter Sports Park Ice Rink!
Winter Sports Park open daily for holidays through January 3rd 2016.
January 4th returns to regular season operations: Grooming daily, Rentals, sledding, and restaurant open Friday through Sunday.
25th Christmas Day. Open 9am to 5pm, weather permitting.
29th-31st Snow Sculpture at the Winter Sports Park
The Tahoe Snow Sculpture Team will create a spectacular piece of snow art adjacent to the Ice Rink located at the Tahoe City Winter Sports Park. Carving will begin on Thursday at 10am. Best viewing will be on Sat after 1pm as the piece comes to life.
31st New Year's Eve at the Winter Sports Park
Celebrate a New York New Year's party from 5-9pm on and off the Ice Rink. Wear your best Disco Costume for a chance to win 2 Sports Park Season Passes!
Ice Skate rentals available on site.
Cafe Zenon will have drink specials in the bar and dinner served all night long.

11th Souper Douper Yurt Dinner Fundraiser
Join us for Tahoe XC Junior Ski Team's Soup, Salad and Dessert Dinner.
6-7pm - Ski or snowshoe to the Yellow Hut for hot beverage, bonfire, laser-guided star tour and telescope viewing with our resident outreach astronomer Gigi.(ski/snowshoe rentals included)
7:30-9pm - Dinner in the Yurt
A choice of delicious soups provided by Wolfdale's, Sunnyside & Uncommon Kitchen along with breads and salad
An array of delectable desserts from our outdoor winter dessert bar.
Beverages: Bring your own favorite beverage, water and non-alcoholic beverages are included.

1st Great Ski Race Pre-Ski
A TXC season pass or daily trail pass is required. Daily pass for pre-registered racers are only $15. Remember, the Fiberboard trail is a shared use trail and you might encounter snowmobiles while skiing.

We are grooming daily to Soup Station #1 the week before the Great Ski Race.

We invite all of you to join us on the Tahoe XC deck from 11am-1pm. $5 donation.
15th Fun Race to Soup Station #1 - 8am
Registration from 7am-7:45am inside the TXC Day Lodge.
Winner gets the glory and a free Taco Feed for two at 1:30pm.
Open to EVERYONE. This is a no pressure, all-inclusive, go for it, free and fun ski race.
15th Season Passholder Appreciation Lunch - 1:30pm
Free for passholders, RSVP by Friday morning. If you are not a passholder and would like to join us, the cost is only $10. Please bring a side dish and/or dessert to share. Men Wielding Fire will be serving up a delicious selection of Tacos, Beer and Sparkling Water!

Last day of operations. We will be grooming for another 2 weeks, weather permitting.
