This fun after-school 8 week cross country ski skills program is a fantastic way to introduce your child to the sport of cross country skiing. The program includes season equipment rental, unlimited skiing and group instruction.
Program Details and Registration (Registration now live, see below)
Skiers attend once a week for 8 weeks. The program begins January 2nd and ends March 6th, 2017. If a group misses a day due to inclement weather, we will try to provide one makeup day. We will continue the program during TTUSD snow days unless the weather is not suitable for skiing. We will decide by 1pm that day if we will go ahead with class. This is a snow or no snow program, and there is no guarantee of number of skiable days that will take place in the program. We strive to provide healthy physical activity regardless of the conditions.
The cost of the program is $95. Children must be 4 years of age by January 1st, 2017 to participate in this coming season's program. This program has over 250 participants each season. We will do our best to schedule your child on a day that works for you. This program is supported by over 60 incredible volunteer instructors each season who give their time each week to help enrich the lives of the children in our community.
Skiers are placed by ability level and their skiing ability may not necessarily be aligned with their grade level. If you have a student new to cross country skiing and is in 2nd grade or above please contact Tim Hauserman at email@example.com to determine your child's ski group.
