12/1 Tahoe XC's annual opening party potluck at 6:30pm.
12/8 Opening Day.

Christmas day. Open 8:30-5:00. Holiday period begins.
12/25-1/2 Holiday period. Dogs welcome 3pm to 5pm daily.

1/1/08 Early Bird Special. Arrive by 9am, get free rentals until noon.
1/9/08 Wine, Women and Wax. Learn to wax skis, socialize, fun!
6:30pm at Tahoe XC. Bring wine or snack to share.
1/9/08 Learn to skate special package. $25.00 includes lesson, 
rental and trail pass for 2.5 hours. 10am or 1pm slots. Call
ahead to sign up, space is limited.
1/17/08 Wax clinic with Michael Dowden, John Clausen.
5:30pm at Tahoe XC. Free. Make those skis fast!

1/21/08 MLK Early Bird Special: Arrive by 9am and purchase
trail pass/rental package until 12pm for only $21.00.
1/27/08 The Tahoe Rim Classic Race to Northstar XC. Link
1/29/08 Free skate ski skills improvement lesson 9:30am
1/30/08 Wine, Women, Wax & Workout. Social women's evening
focusing on ski prep, training, wine and chatting. Everyone
is welcome. (Every woman).
1/31/08 Ski-Orienteering Event. New participants welcome.

2/1/08 High School / Middle School Races at Tahoe XC 10am-3pm
2/2/08 Beginning skate clinic presented by Rossignol Ski Company
9am to 11am. Free with trail pass.
2/3/08 FREE MADSHUS DEMO DAY at the Tahoe XC Trailhead.
8:30am to 3pm.
2/5/08 Free intermediate skills improvement lesson 9:30-11:00.
Sign up in advance. Trail pass required.
Arrive early if rentals needed.
2/6/08 Free Introductory skate ski lessons 10am & 1pm. Sign in at
the front desk. Arrive early if you need rental equipment.
2/7/08 Free introductory cross country lessons 10:30am, 1:30pm.
2/9/08 Free Introductory skate ski lesson 9:15am. Trail pass required. Arrive early to sign in, get pass and rentals.
2/10/08 Alpenglow 20km Freestyle Race. 10am start.

2/14/08 Intermediate skate video clinic with Kevin, PSIA level III.
9am to 11am. Get valuable video analysis and tips.
$35.00, $20.00 for season passholders. Signups limited.
2/18/08 President's Day Early Bird Package Special. Arrive by 9am, purchase trail pass and get free rentals until noon. Must arrive by 9am.
2/19/08 Advanced Skate Clinic with Tav Streit
Tuesday 8:30-10am. $25.00, $20.00 for season pass
holders. Sign up now.
2/20/08 Glide Wax Clinic with John Clausen & Michael Dowden. 
Hands-on clinic. Make your skis fast for the upcoming Great Ski Race. Free. 5:30pm at the ski area. 
2/20/08 Free intermediate skate ski skills improvement lesson 9:30am
2/23/08 Rossignol Intermediate Skate Clinic. Free Clinic. Trail pass required. Get ski instruction, video analysis, waxing advice from the Rossi crew. Sign up in advance. Gear available from Rossignol to try, based on availability.
Email the ski area or call. 9am to 12pm.
2/25-3/1 Great Ski Race Training Week. First 12km groomed daily.
Preview the race course before the big day. Pass required.
2/27/08 Free Beginning skate ski lessons at 10am, 1pm.
Arrive early if you need rentals. Trail pass required.
2/27/08 Preview the Great Ski Race course from start to finish.
Watch for snowmobiles.

3/1/08 Buy your 2008-9 pass now and ski all spring for free.
3/2/08 32nd annual Great Ski Race. Tahoe XC to Truckee.
3/9/08 The 7th annual Gourmet Ski Tour. Tickets on sale now
for this sell-out event. Sample from the finest north shore
restaurants on skis or snowshoes. Finish with live music and
refreshments at the day lodge.
3/12/08 Evening Spring Relays at Tahoe XC. 5:30pm
1km x 4 x 3. Teams of 4, 3 1km laps each. Get your team together. Women's, coed (2/2), and men's and family divisions. 
Potluck after the race, drinks provided by Tahoe XC.
 
3/16/08 The Great Kid's Ski Race
10:30am. BBQ after the event. Distances based on age and skill level. The final event of the Strider Gliders program. 
3/26/08 Free Skate Ski Lessons!
3/30/08 Passholder Appreciation BBQ.
12pm. Food and drink provided to passholders by Tahoe XC. Drop-ins welcome $5.00.
4/1/08 April Fool's Cardiac Relays - Results
5:15pm start
Teams of 4, 3 1km laps per skier.
Women's, Men's, Coed, Junior and Family Teams.
Sliding scale, $5-$10 per team member.
Fundraiser to purchase an AED for the ski area.
